Ontario 50th Anniversary - Ontario

The City of Ontario celebrates its 50th year of incorporation this year. On Aug. 22, a recognition dinner is slated for the Brown Derby Roadhouse with highlights of past years.  The 50th Anniversary Parade will be on Aug. 23 and is scheduled to start at 10:30 AM from Ontario High School through Marshall Park. Festivities will start on Aug. 21 with a ceremony at City Hall, 555 Stumbo Rd.  Past mayors and dignitaries are to be recognized with a reception to follow.  Fireworks will be at the high school/Marshall Park on Aug. 23.  All city buildings will be open for public showing Aug. 21^st  and 22^nd.  For details or to participate in any City of Ontario events, call 419-529-2495.
